Recommended antifreeze for radiators of Ford Focus. Find out how much coolant does your car need. Focus 1.5 TDCi Duratorq (70 kW) Focus 2.5 20V Turbo RS: 7,1 L: 1.6 TDCi - turbo problem. A few months ago I had an issue where the boost was very low and came in late, now it seems to have gone completely. Its not as bad as limp mode but certainly seems like it has no turbo.Engine runs the same when MAF disconnected. However there is a leak on injector 4.
All depends, for a turbo I'd say £500-£600 for a new one, £300 for a refurb, and to fit 4 or 5 hours labour (depending how difficult it is to fit) if your intercooler is full of oil, will need
Posted October 14, 2013 My focus is really lacking power and I noticed a new slight whine from (i think) the turbo. Not sure if its dirty or its on its way out but considering the type of damage you would get from a blown turbo I decided to purchase a refurbished unit from ebay for about 300 quid.
