Apr 20, 2018. #1. Hello everyone, I've been lurking around the forum without registering, reading up on my wife's car and a problem it has. I found a few similar posts but wanted to get an opinion in my exact problem. I bought her a fiat 500 1.3 MJ last year as she liked the 500 and does about 2000 miles a month so needed the dirty diesel.

The engine of the 500 is generally considerably noisier then when I first received it. The bassy noise seems to be at its worst at about 1800 to 2000 revs. If you rev the car to about 3000 revs and then let your foot of the throttle there is a lot of vibration of the car at about 1800 to 2000 revs, (if you have your foot on the floor of the car
