Apple CarPlay will not launch in Discovery after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you havenā€™t allowed access in the settings. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and select your vehicle name under MY CAR. Then turn on the slider button next to ā€˜Allow CarPlay While Lockedā€™. Settings > General > CarPlay > Your Car Name

Can Apple CarPlay be added to a 2019 Discovery Sport SE? Iā€™ve done research online but donā€™t fully understand that distinction between the different versions of the infotainment systems used in the last generation Disco Sports, or why some models can be retrofitted with CarPlay and others canā€™t. Any information would be appreciated. Thank

The 2019 Discovery Sport has standard touchscreen infotainment, but youā€™ll have to spend more for a wide screen and then spend another $300 for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. qCxtz8d.
